Family Portrait Sessions
Freeze the moment.
Life moves fast when you have kids. I am here to capture the authentic smiles, little moments, and the connection that make your family unique, creating deeply beautiful images that you’ll treasure forever.
When you book a Family Portrait Session with me, I will help you choose from a list of my favorite outdoor spaces—whether it’s a private garden space, an airy beach, or a golden sunset field (we are so lucky here in Massachusetts!).
After our session, I will send you a proof gallery where you get to choose your favorite images for me to edit. Once you receive your custom online gallery, you can download your full-resolution images or order high-quality prints.
*Also included with your session is an endless supply of patience and understanding for your kiddos + a dash of silliness to get the giggles flowing!

FAQs
-
To get started, reach out through my contact form and I'll reply with my availability and location options. Once you choose a date and location, I’ll send out an invoice for a $100 retainer.
Once the retainer has been paid, you are officially booked, with the remaining balance due on the day of our session.

Although I take my ultimate goal of creating beautiful images of you and your family seriously, you can expect a fun, lighthearted, engaging, and easy-going vibe during our session.
I do not rely on stiff poses, but instead will give some light guidance and prompts to help you get comfortable and feel confident behind the lens.
I am friendly and silly with the kiddos—and as a mom myself, I have lots of patience (and a few tricks up my sleeve!). -
The locations I use depend on the season, and I will give you a choice of some of my favorite tried-and-true spots that would be appropriate for your session.
Whether on a beautiful beach, in a magical garden space, or a pastoral field lined with rock walls, I rely on the varied natural scenery that we are so lucky to have here in Massachusetts.
If there is a location special to you, let me know and I am more than happy to consider it for our session.
-
A Standard Family Portrait Session includes 20 images, and a Lite Family Portrait Session includes 10. I will send you a soft proof gallery of lightly edited images so you can pick the ones you love the most! Once you choose your favorites, I will finalize edits and upload a full-resolution gallery for you.
There is always an option to upgrade your gallery by adding extra digital images or buying a discounted bundle (10-pack, 20-pack, or the full gallery).
-
It usually takes between two and four weeks after the session to receive your final gallery.
For Standard Family Portraits and In-Home Newborn Sessions, I like to give a sneak peek a few days afterwards.
